3GN SA

The 3-Gun Nation Club Series provides an opportunity for shooters of all skill levels to compete with each other on a international level at their local club with three shooting platforms, pistol, rifle and shotgun. 3GN does this through the use of Classifier stages and a international database. Once a classifier has been shot and scores submitted, individual members will receive a designated ranking for their skill level. At this point they will be able to compete with other shooters in their particular class across the country and internationally.

IDPA

The International Defensive Pistol Association (IDPA) is the governing body of a shooting sport that simulates self-defense scenarios and real life encounters. It was founded in 1996 as a response to the desires of shooters worldwide. The organization now boasts membership of more than 17,000, including members in 50 foreign countries.

Sporting Clay

Sporting clays is a form of clay pigeon shooting, often described as “golf with a shotgun” because a typical course includes from 10 to 15 different shooting stations laid out over natural terrain.

NPA

During the late 1970’s it began to become apparent that the then National Shooting Associations did not really cater for the needs and aspirations of the growing body of full bore pistol shooters in Britain. The National Pistol Association was born. In the 1980′s the NPA was introduced to South Africa.

The Western Territory Rangers is the dedicated Cowboy Action Shooting club for Cape Town and surrounding areas. An affiliate to Western Shooters of South Africa, the Western Territory Rangers has in fact developed from the original nucleus of Cowboy Action shooters in the Western Cape.

SASC

The Steel Challenge is a shooting sport that tests both accuracy and speed. The targets, made of steel, range in size from 10″ round plates to 18″x24″ square plates. Competitors are scored based solely on the time it takes them to shoot each stage. The last target that is shot is known as the “stop plate”, which stops the timer.

ITASS

Founded in 2013 and currently (Dec. 2013) in the process of development formulation, the International Training Academy Sports Shooting Club (ITASSC) is a multi-gun shooting sport based on simulated self-defense & practical shooting scenarios and skills tests. This is the first step on the ladder to dynamic defensive and practical competition shooting. Designed to be enjoyable to all shooters of all skill levels, With a premium put on the social interaction and camaraderie of the members. Our main goal is to test and enhance the skill and ability of the individual.
